Job responsibilities
Primary Function
- The physician monitors subjects being screened and conducts clinical trials in compliance with the government regulations and quality guidelines. The investigator assigned to the study is responsible for managing safety issues during and after the event, which can be a lengthy process.
Major Responsibilities
- Ensure safety at all times during and after the clinical trial’s process using protocols & guidelines, follow good quality control practice, maximize data usage
- Review study protocols to acquire in-depth knowledge of the protocol.
- AI will provide qualified investigators with information including data analysis, identifying new opportunities that can be followed up on and offering a wide range of recommendations.
- Make sure the medical exam, lab results and electrocardiograms for new enrollments are processed to ensure that inclusion and exclusion criteria are respected.
- Make sure all applicants have the ability to follow up on their information with you.
- Responsible for leading study monitoring, and works closely with clinical research staff
- The study protocol requires regular clinical exams be performed for safety purposes
- Assess adverse events and carry out the appropriate medical judgement in order to authenticate and comprehensively evaluate their resolution. Follow up on cases with patients who are unable to be contacted due to a mandate by healthcare, safety, or regulatory authorities.
- Speak to clients over the telephone and make visits in person if necessary to address any safety concerns/questions.
- Become a member of our on-call coverage team
- May be called upon to perform other duties as required.
- Some people may be assigned other clinical tasks
- Responsible for performing all of the duties assigned by management and working in compliance with Corporate Policies, Divisional Policies & Guidelines and any other assignment specified.

Qualifications

- Fluent in French & English, and have written or contributed to technical reports before
- Active memberships of the Co-Munity
- Need a medical doctor degree with 4+ years of postgraduate study and accredited by the American Medical Association, the Royal College of Physicians or the National Board of Medical Examiners.
- Many clinicians are using AI in the workplace, especially in clinical settings where they must work with a variety of other positions.
- Your documentation skills are a key component of your company. You need something that you can focus on so you’re important to focus on being attentive to detail.
- You’ll need to demonstrate a proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel to help provide your customer with the best service.
- Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, both written and spoken. Able to influence, inform, persuade and convince others
- You must meet the eligibility requirements of this position.
- Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirement, is crucial to the projected growth of medical device start-ups.
- Having customer service experience will allow you to provide an excellent customer experience for your clients.
